JOB TITLE: Crew Planner Wizz Air UK 

BASE: Luton  

 

 

Purpose of the position:  

Planning crew roster that allows the company to operate commercial program. To manage crew rosters in an efficient, safe and compliance manner. Driving system and process improvements.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Building crew schedule based on the commercial program and duty time limitations 
  • Optimizing the crew roster to ensure highest crew productivity while adhering to safety and compliance requirements 
  • Oversight of crew resources available to ensure program coverage, operational resilience and targeted crew utilization levels. Cross functional ccooperation with various stakeholders across the organization aiming at proper staffing and qualification level (Cabin and Flights Operations , Training Department, Human Resources and Recruitment) 
  • Responsibility for roster fatigue and wellbeing of crew members.  
  • Tracking, monitoring and modifying cockpit and cabin crew rosters  
  • Taking the lead in process and system improvement. Oversight on the HP bidding and Roster Preferences module  
  • Continuous cooperation with the Training Department representatives & Crew Training Planning in terms of rostering principles and training requirements 
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations (duty and flight time limitations, Fatigue Risk Management)

Requirements:

  • Good oral and written presentations skills 
  • Team work and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Fluent spoken / written English 
  • Ability to live and work in London, United Kingdom 
  • Flexibility to travel as required away from Office  
  • Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops system and knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements are advantages 

Working Conditions: work is performed both in office environments, outdoors, and will occasionally be performed at dangerous work areas (including but not limited to airside territories of airports, hangars, maintenance warehouses, on board of aircrafts, IT server rooms …). Employee may occasionally for shorter periods be exposed to chemicals/hazardous substances (toner ink, aviation fuel and other fluids), working in front of a monitor, loud noise, heat, cold, vibration, slips, trips and falls, electricity, sharp objects, machines at work.
